Do you provide a cot or highchair for young children?

Yes, these are available at all our properties. Please request at the time of booking – we require at least 48 hours’ notice.

What provisions are provided for our use?

Our aim is to enable you to settle in as easily as possible, that includes minimising your luggage for essential items. In addition to the standard supplies, we provide salt, pepper and oil for cooking; tea, coffee, sugar, milk pods, herbal teas, coffee pods and water. Dishwasher tablets and laundry detergent where appropriate. Cleaning products for the kitchen and bathroom. Sanitary pads and tampons.

Question 3

We are in town visiting family for an extended stay. Can our family members join us at the property?

Accepted Answer

Just like at home, we understand that there may be occasions when a friend or family member may want to spend the night and that is perfectly acceptable. We do however we request that you keep us informed and do not exceed the number of beds in the property.  If you need to increase the number of guests staying regularly above the booked amount this will need to be approved in advance and may incur additional costs.

Question 4

Why do you charge for mid-stay cleans on long term stays? If this is my home away from home then surely I can do the cleaning myself?

One of the important services we provide for our serviced accommodation is professional cleaning. Whilst we welcome you keeping the property clean and tidy our cleaners ensure that the serviced standard is maintained throughout your stay as well as stocking up on essential items. It is also critical that we are able to quickly identify and address any issues during your stay.

I have tried to book for one night but it does not let me

Whilst we understand that there are many genuine reasons why guests may wish to book for one night, at Homes by Jacq we cater for guests requiring accommodation for a minimum of four nights so that they can fully enjoy the homely experience. Occasionally we allow shorter stays for two or three nights but those are only made available for last minute bookings.
